Some of my latest sewing projects

I am shocked to see how long it has been since I accessed my blog - I could blame it on my knee giving out, but that hasn't really slowed down my sewing projects.

I am posting a photo of my quilted tote bag with double lace around the top, also a 'messenger' type bag that can also serve as a throw pillow cover (it is 13" X 13"), and the staw hat wreathy that I just made yesterday.

Log Cabin Quilt

My son came by this afternoon and straightened up my computer and all the USB hubs - I had dropped them on the floor under the desk and couldn't reach anything. Sure glad I have so many smart sons (and a smart daughter too).

I am finally able to upload pictures of my Log Cabin quilt.

First Wall Hanging for Christmas 2010

This is the first wall hanging that I have made for Christmas 2010 - I like it so much, I might make more than one. It is also the first time that I have done binding around the outside of a quilt -not perfect, but interesting and I can only get better (I hope!)

Picture of some of the family

This picture was taken on Valentine's Day (2010) in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I'm seated in red and my twin is in blue.

Some of my latest endeavors

At Craft Club today we painted clay pots - the other gals are gloriously creative - me, not so much - still it was fun. I wanted my pots to put next to the sewing machine to hold all the utencils of torture that I need to sew with.

I'll see if I can locate the picture of the chenille bathmat I made last week.

Latest 12 Cat Wall Hanging

Remind me that I don't like applique work and I certainly don't like using the glue gun. I am such a sucker for the cat wall hangings - sure wish I could find some cute dog wall hangings, but so far, I haven't seen any that caught my eye.

Also here is the wooden spoon doll we made at Craft Club today - a lot of fun and the faces all turned out differently - we did a variety of hair too - what fun!
